Exceptional Armenian duo of Inga and Anush Arshakyans
Inga and Anush sing and compose since their childhood. The sisters are Arno Babajanyan Music College alumni. Inga graduated from the violin department, while Anush graduated from the piano department. Graduating from the Yerevan State Conservatory the singers have performed jointly on the professional stage since 2000. At the beginning of the career the girls performed solo at the State Song Theatre of Armenia.
Since 2008 Anush and Inga Arshakyans cooperate with SHARM Holding production center.
The music they offer is a fusion of Armenian folk music, rock, jazz and other genres of contemporary music performed with exceptionally strong voices. The sisters began their musical career through adapting Armenian ethno tunes and exclusive performance which was considered a kind of a challenge at that period in the Armenian show business. Through performing Armenian national songs, Inga and Anush have revived the threatened ethno tunes and have breathed a new life into folk melodies through rock and jazz arrangements.
