One of the “Genealogy” group members, representing Armenia at the Eurovision is Inga Arshakyan.
Except Inga Arshakyan “Genealogy” will be represented by Essaï Altounian (France), Tamar Kaprelian (USA), Vahe Tilbian (Ethiopia), Stephanie Topalian (Japan), Mary-Jean O’Doherty Vasmatzian (Australia). Six artists, six destinies, one story.
Inga and Anush Arshakyans at UNESCO
On July 30 a concert program bearing the title “Youth on behalf of Peace” took place in Segur concert hall within the framework of UNESCO. Compositions by Aram Khachaturyan, Sayat-Nova, Alexander Harutyunyan, Michael Tariverdiev and others were performed during the concert.
Inga and Anush Arshakyans was granted the title of Honored Artist of Armenia.
In accordance with decrees of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, a number of representatives of Armenia’s science, economy, heath care and education sectors, the National Security Service and the police received highest state awards and honorary titles on the occasion of the 23rd anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Armenia.
Arshakyan sisters are preparing to perform a concert in Yerevan
The sisters are staying active and creative as always. Currently Inga and Anush are preparing to perform a solo concert in Yerevan the main program of which will comprise pieces by Komitas.

On April 6 the State Kremlin Palace will host the IX annual ceremony of “Armenia” Music Awards Legends 2014.

Inga and Anush released their 4th CD
On the New Year’s Eve Inga and Anush prepared a nice gift for their fans, the 4th CD album entitled “Sketches”.
Inga graduated from the violin department at Arno Babajanyan Music College in Yerevan. Along with the studies she worked in the State Violin Ensemble. She is also the alumna of the Komitas State Conservatory where she studied at the jazz-vocal department.
